Your journey begins with a one-on-one consultation with a board-certified oral surgeon, who will evaluate your medical history, current dental condition, lifestyle, and long-term goals. Next, advanced digital imaging—including panoramic X-Ray —is used to capture a precise view of your bone structure, nerves, and sinuses. This allows for implant placement to be planned with exceptional accuracy in terms of position, angle, and depth, and whether you’ll receive a temporary restoration the same day—often referred to as “teeth-in-a-day.”
This minimally invasive surgical procedure is performed under carefully monitored sedation or anesthesia, ensuring your comfort throughout. During the procedure, small incisions are made in the gums, and four to six titanium implants are placed into the jawbone to create a stable foundation for a fixed prosthetic arch. In many cases, a temporary set of teeth is attached the same day, so patients leave with a functional smile while the implants integrate with the bone. The entire procedure typically takes two to four hours per arch, depending on the complexity of the case.
Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness are normal and usually resolve within a few days. Over the next 3 to 6 months, your implants will undergo a process called osseointegration, where the titanium posts fuse with your natural bone. During this time, follow-up visits are scheduled to monitor your healing, adjust your temporary teeth if needed, and ensure that everything is progressing as planned. Once healing is complete and the implants are fully integrated, your final custom prosthesis is fabricated and securely attached.

Their follow up coupled their professionalism, their office environment and genuine caring across-the-board! I would not go anywhere else, for oral surgical care."
"The staff balanced being affable with being professional and balanced being concise with being informative. I left the consultation feeling that the group would take care of me with further investment, regard, and intentionality at procedure time. I have raved about the experience since departing the office."
"I really appreciated the calm, reassuring atmosphere in the office, and I especially appreciated Dr. Schaner’s expertise and professionalism."
The process starts with a free consultation, digital imaging, and a personalized treatment plan. Implants are placed during a single surgical visit, and most patients receive temporary teeth that same day. Final teeth are placed after healing is complete.
Yes—most patients leave surgery with a full set of temporary teeth. These are replaced with a custom final smile after healing, ensuring comfort, stability, and long-term success.
